Full-size picture Fuuko, 15, is very genki and loves to play with the neighbourhood children. One day, two guys her age, Ichi, very cool and good-looking, and Daiya, cute and mischievous, move in together into the apartment above Fuuko. They're cousins, and they're going to Fuuko's school. Unfortunately, Fuuko gets off on the wrong foot with them, accidentally breaking a coffee mug of Ichi's that he treasured, and having her panties being seen by Daiya. However, she is soon won over by Daiya's friendliness and becomes friends with him, though it looks like there's something(or someone) in his past. Ichi is still pretty cold to Fuuko, but he is the one that Fuuko thought of as her 'type' when she first saw him... OK! VERY short summaries of the chapters I have! This is the bare bones 'cause I don't have time for more right now. Part 1: It's the day before Fuuko enters her new high school. She sees Ichi and Daiya move in while she's playing with the kids. Ichi ignores them and Fuuko gets mad, so she pulls on his arm, accidentally making him drop a box with a mug in it and breaking it. He gets mad and leaves. This is when Daiya sees her panties and comments on them, He finds out that Fuuko is the same age as him, 15, and looks closely at her, and she sees that he has lipstick on his cheek! Later, her mom suggests that she go to school with them to show the way, but Fuuko yells out that she doesn't want to, right in front of them. At school, Fuuko has to sit beside Ichi in class, and apologizes to him about the mug, but he says he would have thrown it out anyways. Then she finds Daiya kissing a girl, and he shoos her away like a dog! After school, it's raining, and Fuuko thinks that Ichi will lend her his jacket for cover, but he uses it himself instead, leaving her to think of both cousins as hateful... Part 2: Fuuko and Daiya get a cold from the rain. Ichi goes off to school, and Daiya convinces Fuuko to come up and nurse him. She finds out that the girl he was kissing isn't his girlfriend, and he's never gone out with anyone. She thinks probably he's never really liked someone, and reflects that she hasn't either. She finds that Ichi has glued the mug back together, and figures that it must be really important to him. Daiya falls asleep, and the medicine makes Fuuko sleepy too, so she falls asleep beside his bed. When Ichi comes home, he notices Fuuko's shoes so he doesn't go in, but waits outside while the two inside sleep. Part 3: Fuuko wakes up and runs out, banging into Ichi. She tells him all she did was sleep, and scolds him fro staying out in the cold. He throws her a strawberry pudding as payment for the medicine she gave Daiya. At school, she discovers that Ichi is the top student in their year. She supports him when the class complains about a field trip destination(the zoo), and Ichi smiles at her(very cute!) Daiya shouts across a courtyard(his and Fuuko's class are opposite) to Fuuko, thanking her for staying with him yesterday and creating a stir. Fuuko tries to hish him but he doesn't care. After school, she and Daiya walk home together and she asks him if he's always been so nonchalant. She wonders aloud if there are lots of girls who were hurt because of his light attitude, and Daiya silences her with a finger to her lips. He looks serious for the first time ever, and Fuuko is surprised, but then he reverts to normal Daiya, and Fuuko wonders... Part 4: The day of the field trip, Fuuko is really excited, and her mom makes three lunches:Fuuko's, Daiya's, and Ichi's. On the way to the bus, Fuuko stumbles into the gutter. Ichi finds her there but continues on, and Daiya comes right after and brings her home to wash and change. They miss the last bus, so they take the train. On the way, there's a big jerk and an old lady falls out of her seat. Daiya quixkly goes over and helps her, and Fuuko is struck by his kindness. When they get to the zoo, Daiya finds his friends quickly, but stays with Fuuko until she finds hers. Fuuko thanks him. She totally forgets about the serious expression he made before...
