Rikka has two treasures-her
ultra-cute clothes and accessories, which she wears, being in the Lolita
style, and the man she loves, Manabu. She fell in love with him one
day when she saw him refuse a hooker on the street, saying he could never
sleep with someone he doesn't love. Rikka is always visiting his
apartment to see him, even though they're 10 years apart(Rikka's 16, Manabu's
26) and Manabu is a totally average salaryman while Rikka stands out wherever
she goes. Manabu puts up with her, but one day Rikka interrupts a
party that Manabu is having with his co-workers, and Rikka feels left out.
There's a woman at the party who's obviously after Manabu, and is the exact
opposite of Rikka-adult clothes, adult body, lots of makeup, etc.
Rikka gets annoyed and to prove that she's 'grown-up', she drinks some
straight liquor. Manabu has to take her home, and her father is waiting
outside. When he sees the state that Rikka's in, he blames Manabu
and tells him never to see Rikka again...
Tamami used to be pretty chubby, and didn't realize her image until she confessed to the guy she liked, Ishibashi-kun, and saw his expression when he told her he thought they wouldn't 'suit'. He's going away to England on exchange, and Tamami vows to become a desirable woman by the time he gets back so she can go out with him without bringing down his image. In addition to going on a really strict diet, Tamami works a lot of part-time jobs to earn money for cute clothes. While in a dog suit at an amusement park, she meets another boy from her school working there after she passed out and he helped her. Tatara-kun(who's studying to be a hairstylist) is really nice, but he always seems to push her to eat more, which annoys Tamami when she's on a diet. They get to be good friends though, and when Ishibashi-kun comes back, Tamami is really happy and asks Tatara-kun to style her hair for a date. When he finds out who she's going with, though, he strongly disapproves, saying he's surprised Tamami would try so hard for a guy like that. Then he says that he would never make Tamami do that... ![]()
'I used to dress for comfort, but then I noticed- guys don't want that, they like fashionable Gals!' This is what Arata tells her friends, explaining why she switched to wearing short skirts, boots, and doing her hair and makeup carefully. She's trying to catch the eye of Tokugawa-kun, a cute guy who's nice but hard to get through to. Arata goes all-out to get his attention, but attracts more looks from her classmates than Tokugawa-kun-he's more likely to notice that her skimpy clothes are causing her goosebumps than to appreciate her daring. Arata finally asks him on a kind-of date, and decides to shop for a new outfit for the occasion. She doesn't have any money though, so she agrees to do some 'modelling'(would anybody really fall for this?). Arata is frightened when the men tell her to take off her clothes, and manages to get away from them. She thinks that she doesn't want to attract anybody's attention to her, only Tokugawa-kun, when she runs into him. Upset from her experience, she tells him that she's been trying so hard and making herself fashionable just for him, but he tells her that there's no point, that it would just be a bother to him. Heartbroken, Arata runs home... ![]()
