Kotori is-in a way-very experienced in love. That is, she's experienced at getting dumped. She's confessed to 24 guys, and is convinced that the 25th is the charm. The guy, Ogasawara, says he'll give her his answer at a summer festival, so Kotori dresses up in a yukata and goes to meet him feeling very happy-until he shows up with another woman and says it's his girlfriend. Dumbfounded, Kotori walks in a daze around the festival until she catches her sleeve on a branch. Pulling at it, her yukata starts to come undone and she's embraced from behind. She screams 'Pervert!' but the guy, Yamato-kun, just wanted to give her his shirt to wear over her yukata(I don't really know why he hugged her though...) Kotori notices that his bangs are blue. He warns her to go home before she's eaten by an old man, and comments that she's in a pretty good mood. The next day Kotori accidentally takes an extra English textbook from her desk, hers and the one used for night school. She returns to give it back, and finds the same guy sitting at her desk. During the day he works as a painter, and he's going to paint Kotori's school the following week. He mentions again that she's pretty cheerful, and Kotori realizes that he saw her getting dumped and is totally embarrassed. Yamato wonders if normally girls don't cry after being dumped, and later, Kotori thinks about it. She's never cried over a guy... Sure enough, Kotori and Yamato run into each other when he starts painting the school, and they get along really well. Once, while putting out the class garbage, Kotori overhears Ogasawara bad mouthing her, telling his friend a rumour that she likes anyone who meets her eye, and that she's gone for 20 guys, and he didn't want to be the 21st. Kotori empties the garbage on him and corrects him, saying he was the 25th, then walks away. She runs into Yamato and for some reason, starts crying. To cheer her up, he takes her out on his scooter, and in the following days, their relationship deepens. For the first time Kotori is afraid to confess her feelings, but decides she has to be truthful to herself. But Ogasawara, who really has it in for Kotori now, makes sure that Yamato knows how easily Kotori falls in love, so when Kotori finally gets up the nerve to confess, Yamato takes it the wrong way...
Mashiro has a dream...of having big breasts. But in reality, she's AAA size(in Japan, very small). She sees an ad on TV for a bra that will increase a girl's size by five centimetres, and runs off to buy one. When she gets there though, the only clerk available is a young man, and she can't bring herself to buy it. It turns out that this man is the older brother of Mashiro's boyfriend, and she asks him not to tell his brother about her small chest. The older brother tells her she shouldn't be so concerned about it, but Mashiro doesn't listen. She finally buys the miracle bra and goes a on a date with the younger brother, who admires her 'figure'. Happily going home, she meets up with the older brother again, and when she says she wishes she was more womanly, he reassures her, saying she is womanly for thinking that. Mashiro wears the bra at school too, and her boyfriend notices it, saying her old self wasn't even female. Mashiro laughs but is hurt, but still accepts his invitation to visit his house that evening. There's no one else home, and almost as soon as she gets in the door, Mashiro's boyfriend grabs her and starts kissing her. Mashiro doesn't enjoy it, and pushes him back, but not before he realizes that her chest is not as full as it looks. He calls her a fraud, and she runs out, bumping into(literally) the older brother again...
