Bangaihen 1: Ran in Ribon Bikkuri Early Summer 1996 Bangaihen 2: Ran in Ribon Natsuyasumi Tanoshimi Summer 1995 Bangaihen 3: Written for the tankoubon Kai, an 18-year old who looks like a 13-year-old, is pretty smart with good policing instincts, but way too believing of people. He lets suspicious-looking people go if they just tell him they haven't done anything. For one incident, the owner of a jewelry store is murdered, and there was a girl on camera. They find the girl, 16-year old Osanai Bari, but she says she was only looking for her ring. It turns out it was the owner's nephewaldfj or something, and the girl later comes to work with them. A little romance-type thing going on with Kai and Bari, though at first she thinks she likes another policeman(we know she's just fooling herself, deshou?^_^).
Included in Volume 1. Sakura can see and talk to ghosts. She often talks to them and tries to help them achieve peace and go to heaven, but her friend Nanako tells her she shouldn't do it in public, people will think she's weird. One day, she's walking home from school and sees her cat, Popo. He runs away from her to a good-looking boy in a school uniform, who knows who she is, and warns her that she has a smell of danger around her, and should be careful. She asks his name-Joukan Akira. From then on, odd things happen at school, and her friend Nanako is suspected of hurting girls who are friendly with her new boyfriend. Joukan keeps showing up and telling Sakura to be careful, and brings her attention to a girl who's always watching Nanako's boyfriend. It turns out the girl is a ghost, and was childhood friends with Nanako's boyfriend. She resents Nanako, so she tries to pin the blame for hurting people on her. Sakura wants to help her, but she gets very angry. Joukan-kun shows up to save her, and together they try to help the ghost girl... |
