Set in Bakumatsu(about, think Kenshin) Japan, this is the story of Soushirou and his friend Michio.  They're really good friends, but Michio's dad wants her to marry some son of a rich family, and Soushirou is just the son of a sake store owner.

Touko has a really nice boyfriend Morishima, but she's afraid to introduce him to her family because they're, uh, pretty weird.  Her mom and grandma are some sort of human with long necks, and Touko and her grandpa turn into foxes when they see the moon.  Her dad is a regular human.  Touko is sure that Morishima won't like her if he knows the truth.  When a boy starts hassling her about her 'tail' showing and Touko takes him seriously, Morishima demands to know if she's hiding something...
 

Kagami no Kuni ni Ruma

I think this is Touma-sensei's debut story.
Ruma is very straightforward and has a lot of childhood guy friends, but when a transfer student, Kazuaki, comes and says he's one of them, she doesn't know why she can't remember him.  Kazuaki always talks to her and walks her home, and Ruma starts to like him but can't be honest and tells her classmates that he annoys her.  The next day, he tells her he was lying, he didn't know her before, even though Ruma thought she was starting to remember him...
